Dead Beats Society News The Dead Beats Society was founded in 2008 as a group of genealogy volunteers at the Lewiston Public Library. They have worked on various local projects including Cemetery Preservation and Restoration (C.P.R.) at the Village of Lewiston Cemetery and the digitization of local Niagara County obituaries. Our current project includes the organization and digitization of the newly discovered records of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows, located in Lewiston, New York, in order to make them accessible for genealogical research.
