Ask-A-Librarian

AskUs 24/7 - Have questions, want answers?  Ask a WNY Librarian chat- live reference service can now help you 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  If you like to get accurate information from people who know the business, this is the place for you!

You will not necessarily be chatting with a Librarian in your community or even at your library. However, the librarian will be able to help you with questions about your library or provide information to other questions you may have by using a range of Internet sources and specialized databases. Occasionally you may be referred (behind the scenes) back to your library and a librarian from your library or another Western New York library will get back to you via email. And don't worry, Western New York Librarians still staff the desk more than 30 hours per week.

NIOGA.ORG

The Nioga Library System is a non-profit cooperative library system serving the public libraries in three counties. The library system takes its name from the counties that it serves - Niagara, Orleans and Genesee. The system, which consists of twenty-one public libraries, is one of twenty-three similar systems in New York State. It receives most of its financial support through the New York State Department of Education.
The Nioga Library System, which was chartered in 1958, helps to provide improved informational services to all residents of its three county area.
